Annadale Striders’ Day of 3000m Races

Now in its fifth year, Annadale Striders’ Day of 3000m Races is fast becoming a staple in the Northern Ireland track season. With graded races to suit all competitive runners, this meeting is perfect for athletes targeting a fast race against runners matched to their ability.
Along with prize money for both the men’s and women’s ‘A’ races, we are offering a cash bonus for anyone who can break our Meeting Records (Male: 8:18.03 / Female: 9:27.97).
All races will be paced to at least 1000m to help achieve fast times.
We are also introducing a novice race in 2024 for those who would like to gain some experience on the track. For this friendly opening race, you would not be required to wear spikes, and we can offer guidance on what to expect. This is perfectly suited to runners who have some experience in road races, but have yet to try out track running. Email annadalestriders1973@gmail.com for more information about this opportunity.
We also plan to run two male and two female 200m races.
Entry: £12 for 3000m, £10 for 200m
