McIlroy Smashes NI Record - 28 August 2005James McIlroy smashed his own NI record of 145.3 when finishing third in the Rieti, Italy in a time of 1m44.65. Taking over a second off his seasons best at this stage of the year is a significant achievement and puts him tenth on the GB all time list.
He also goes to third on the latest European rankings, and fifteenth in the IAAF World Rankings. His next outing is in roverretto on Wednesday evening.
