800m Clinic- host Tony Lester - 29 November 2005On Saturday December 10th at Mary Peters Track (Les Jones Room) Tony Lester will be holding a question and answer session on 800m running. The session will begin promptly at 1pm.
Tony is part of the UK:A performance coach team and his success in the past has mainly been with sprinters including Roger Black, Mark Richardson, Marlon Devonish, Abi Oyepitan and Tim Benjamin. However over the past year he has guided James McIlroy to new NI records over 600m, 1000m, and 800m indoors and outdoors.
Tony will be happy to discuss how speed plays a vital part in the preparation of an 800m runner, and discuss the foundation of James' improved form.
All UK:A qualified Coaches as well as local athletes are welcome to attend.
