Boyle sets new 60m best. - 05 February 2006Anna Boyle set a new indoor 60m pb and in the process a new NI 60m best when winning at the Jeff White Motors international at UWIC on Sunday. Boyle was a comfortable winner from team-mate Ailis McSweeney in 7.41secs, just outside the World Indoor qualifying mark.
Paul McKee lowered his seasons best slightly over 400m when finishing runner-up to Matt Elias over 400m at the same meeting. Paul's finished in 48.05secs.
Gareth Turnbull had a impressive opening to his indoor campaign in Gainesville, Florida. Gareth comfortably won the 3000m in a new PB of 8m.0.63secs. The 3m43 world indoor qualifying mark should be well within his capabilities at the Odyssey in two weeks time.
