Weekend round up Irish Schools and AAA champs - 06 March 2006

Athletes from Northern Ireland competed at the Irish Schools Cross Country Championships and at the AAA U15, U17 and U20 Championships.

At the Irish Schools' Championships there were individual golds for Sasha Hooks junior girls and Ryan Faulkner inter boys, a silver for Sarah Neary senior girls and there were also 2 individual bronze medals for Conor Flannagan senior boys and E Black junior girls.

At the AAA U15, U17 and U20 Championships, Jenny Brown won the U17 girls Shot with a throw of 12.09m a new U17 age best. Amy Foster picked up a silver in the 200m in a NI U20 best in 24.73 and a bronze in the 60m.
